Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital within a catheterization lab setting Performs left and right heart caths, PCI, pacemaker, AICD, Micra procedures, with occasional IABP and Impella implantation Average daily caseload is 4 cases, caseload may vary Uses Epic for charting; Epic experience is required 4x10 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Weekend and call coverage required No regular floating but may be required to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed Duties include performing complex cardiovascular procedures and device implantation in a collaborative team setting Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff Free parking provided All travelers are expected to float to nearby affiliate facilities if required Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and must live more than 50 miles from the facility RTO must be approved prior to placement and will be limited according to staffing needs Pre-start and annual online training modules are required Local and travel candidates accepted, but the facility applies a 50-mile radius rule for locals who will be paid at a different rate Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience Current BCLS, ARRT, Fluoro Permit, and CA license required Experience with interventional radiology procedures preferred Epic EMR experience required References : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty Must be willing to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year May not have pending CA state license; valid CA license must be in hand for consideration License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612637.
