Part Time Caregiver needed in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Community Resource Network of Florida   is looking for a caregiver  who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I / DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour .

Caregiver must be outgoing, provide companion assistance to help facilitate new activities for socialization, preferably sports related.  Schedule :

• Fridays 10am-2pm or Saturdays 11 : 30am-3 : 30pm  You will be a good fit for this position if you : Have a positive outlook and contagious energy  Demonstrate patience and compassion Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role : Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities   Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment  Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization  Complete daily progress notes  Qualifications and Skills Valid driver’s license  Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
