As a Client Technology Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge enterprise end-user technology solutions that elevate business productivity and operational effectiveness in alignment with organizational needs. Your direct involvement in comprehensive projects such as patch management, endpoint security, imaging, scripting, and software deployment will play a pivotal role in enhancing the client technology landscape.

Responsibilities
Design and Deploy Client Endpoint Solutions
Architect and implement client endpoint solutions including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, virtual desktops (VDI), and related peripheral hardware.
Manage and configure operating systems (Windows / macOS), device images, drivers, and software packages. Support endpoint management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune, SCCM, JAMF).
Implement and support device security standards, patch management, encryption, and antivirus tools. Partner with IT security to ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
Maintain and Optimize End-User Computing Environment
Ensure a stable, reliable, and scalable global end-user computing environment with strong performance, maintainability, and recoverability.
Address complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions that ensure timely resolution in adherence to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Maintain documentation for incidents and problems while implementing preventative measures to minimize recurrence. Develop and maintain automation scripts for device provisioning, software deployment, and configuration (e.g., PowerShell).
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration
Continuously evaluate and improve client technology infrastructure to enhance user experience, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with procurement and asset management teams to define hardware standards, manage device lifecycle, inventory, and license tracking.
Document procedures, technical standards, and knowledge base articles for support teams and end users. Stay informed on emerging technologies, evaluate their relevance, and incorporate new solutions to enhance user experience, streamline operations, and improve organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
SKILLS
Technical Expertise and Proficiency
Imaging, patch management, endpoint management / protection, scripting / automation, and software packaging technologies and processes.
In-depth understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or other automation tools.
Strong knowledge of SCCM, Intune, and JAMF.
Strong knowledge of Citrix, VMWare, and other virtualization platforms.
Troubleshooting and Support
Advanced level troubleshooting skills, including Tier 3 support and root cause analysis of the desktop environment.
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra, Microsoft Server platforms, and networking technology and concepts.
Working knowledge of ITIL practices and service desk environments.
Familiarity with concepts like Azure AD, SSO, and MFA.
Communication and Collaboration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to provide technical consultations and presentations as needed.
Proven ability to use good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential and multiple projects are worked simultaneously.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to gain, understand, and apply information and data as it relates to the essential functions of the position.
