Position Overview :

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repair projects of electrical systems and components specifically focused on the Telecommunications, Wireless, Utility and UPS markets.
Reporting Relationship : The Journeyman Electrician will report to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
- Perform skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for building & grounds
- Perform the installation of transformers, control boards, electronic circuits, circuit breakers, switches, fuses, and related electrical equipment
- Perform installations of backup generator systems
- Determine modifications required when obstructions are met while installing electrical systems
- Read electrical blueprints, plans, and schematics.
- Develops strong line of communication with Electrical Manager / Master Electrician and within all departments utilizing electrical service
- Ability to work from wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches, blueprints, and / or verbal instructions
- Proficient in the use of standard electrician's tools and measuring / testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter
- Perform other duties and assignments as necessary
