System Administrator / Lead Technician - Physical Security Systems

Leading physical security system integrator that focuses on design, installation, maintenance and operation of technically complex integrated physical security management systems. Hiring full time due to growth.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Perform system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of security solutions.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues to maintain system functionality.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and use troubleshooting tools to analyze system performance and determine solutions.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to address client concerns efficiently.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and respond to inquiries.
  • Offer training and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance.
  • Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including service reports, equipment inventory, and configuration changes.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to contribute to knowledge bases and share best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a related security systems role.
  • Industry certifications in Lenel, CCure, Genetec, Bosch, AMAG, Avigilon and other Access Control and Video Management systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both over the phone and in person, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PDF.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to travel and work onsite.
