Facility near Denver, CO seeking HemOnc locums coverage Rates : $500 / hr This facility is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist / Oncologist for locum coverage from January 6, 2025, through December 31, 2025. This position focuses on building and growing the hospital s new Hematology / Oncology clinic. Key Details
- Schedule :
- Clinic Hours : Monday Thursday, 7 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m. (30-min unpaid lunch).
- Remote Triage : Fridays, 10 : 00 a.m. 12 : 00 p.m.
- Setting : Outpatient, no trauma.
- FTE : 1.0.
- Patient Census : Currently 4 patients / day, expected to grow.
- Duties :
- Provide clinic coverage and chemotherapy supervision.
- Treat hematologic and medical oncology diagnoses.
- Support practice growth and development.
- EMR : Epic (training required).
- Support Staff :
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Procedures : General Hematology / Oncology, including chemotherapy supervision.
Requirements
Certifications :Board Certified in Medical Oncology Required.Active Colorado License or IMLC LOQ in hand Highly Preferred.DEA and BLS Required.Experience :Comfortable seeing hematology patients.Able to commit to a minimum 1-year assignment.Additional Requirements :Acknowledge responsibility for building and growing the practice.Adherence to EMR training requirements.Malpractice History : Clean malpractice preferred; self-query NPDB report encouraged.Credentialing :
