Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with RDMS certification and at least 2 years of recent experience in a US hospital.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is for a general ultrasound technologist
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
  • 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
  • Call required as part of rotation
  • Role involves performing dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnostic purposes
  • Use of multiple types of sonographic imaging equipment
  • Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
  • Responsibilities include operating sonographic equipment and communicating diagnostic exam results
  • Must provide care appropriate to the age of patients served
  • Functions as the first line interface with patients and staff to accomplish imaging needs
  • No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius

  • Current RDMS certification required
  • Current BLS certification from AHA required
  • Graduate of an accredited sonography program required
  • Minimum of 2 years prior work experience as a sonographer in a US hospital setting
  • Willingness to learn or prior experience with Echo is a bonus but not required
  • Must have an active license; no pending licenses allowed (license required if applicable)
  • Two professional references preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
  • COVID and Flu vaccination required
  • Social Security number required for consideration
  • CPI certification mandated by the position
