Job Title : EVS Aide
Shift : 5x8, 2 : 30PM-11PM weekends required EST Onsite
JOB SUMMARY :
Performs routine manual housekeeping work cleaning / disinfecting areas
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- 6+ months of cleaning experience within a hospital , clinic or large organization setting
- HS Diploma / GED JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Empty trash
- Clean , wash, dust and polish hardware, brass , furniture, mirrors , bedside lighting fixtures , high dust vents, radiators, and exteriors of cabinets and equipment
- Clean , dust mop, mop, scrub , sweep , or vacuum floors , stairways and halls
- Clean patient rooms following 10 step cleaning process and / or offices thoroughly by dust mopping floors , disinfecting furniture, plastic cushions, frames and cleaning / disinfecting bathroom fixtures and walls
- Clean / disinfect drinking fountains, ice making machines, sand urns
- Repost repairs , loose tiles, broken blinds and damage furniture
- Follow all universal precautions , blood borne pathogens procedures and use protective equipment as needed while cleaning patient care areas
- May dust mop, wax, and buff floors and shampoos carpets
