🗓️ Scheduling & Shifts\n\nOptions : \n\nDays / Variable : 3×12s, shift window 0500–2300\n\nNights : 3×12s, 1830–0700 (3 in a row)\n\nWeekend Call : Required every 3 weeks\n\nWeeknight Call : One 2300–0700 call every 2–3 weeks (not required for night RNs)\n\nCall Response Time : 15 minutes (sleep room available)\n\nHoliday Call : Work 2 holidays / year (on-call rotation)\n\n💻 Systems & Equipment\n\nCharting : EPIC (note if no experience)\n\nMeds : Omnicell\n\n📋 General Information\n\nUnit Size : \n\n24 Pre-Op / Phase 2 beds\n\n19 PACU beds\n\nPatient Population : Infants to Geriatrics\n\nTypes of Patients : Ambulatory, Elective, Acute care, Trauma\n\nEndo : RN assists with prep / discharge only, no intra-op\n\n🧑‍⚕️ Staffing & Ratios\n\nPre-Op RN : 1 : 2–3\n\nPACU RN : 1 : 1 or 1 : 2\n\nPhase 2 RN : 1 : 2–4\n(All based on acuity, airway, comorbidities, age, etc.)\n\n✅ Requirements\n\nExperience : Minimum 1.5 years (no first-time travelers)\n\nCertifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS\n\nLicensure : RN licensed in South Dakota\n\nEducation : Completion of a board-approved RN program
