Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location : 1008 Airport Road Suite A, Destin, FL 32541

Schedule : Mon - Fri

Compensation : Starting at $25+ / hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.

Incentives : $3000 sign on bonus and / or indefinite student debt benefit repayment option of $200 / month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Destin, FL has an immediate opening for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join our team of 2 PTs treating an orthopedic caseload which includes neuro, vestibular, concussion and fall prevention. Calling all Physical Therapist Assistants including new grads, APPLY! Mentoring available for new grads. Let's foster your growth.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
