Job Title : Fiber Optical Technician

Location : Hickory, NC

Duration : 6 Months

This job is 100% in Hickory NC. M-F from 8am to 4pm.

Description :

Candidates must have experience in fiber optics : connectors and / or cables.

Top skills required :

• Experience in optical fiber- based products : fiber fusion splicing; inspect, clean and install optical fiber connectors, optical fiber cable installation (field installation).
• Data processing and data analysis using computer Macros.
• No restrictions to physically pull / maneuver heavy duty optical fiber cables.
• Being able to work under extreme temperature conditions (-22F and 104F).
• Candidates must have good eyesight and being able to identify colors
• Be a team player
