Overview

Our client is seeking an HR Specialist. Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic online retailer known for their commitment to exceptional customer service and innovative e-commerce solutions. They are dedicated to fostering a collaborative and engaging workplace and believe that every team member has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business.

Responsibilities

Act as a primary point of contact for Team Member inquiries—resolving questions via inbound / outbound calls, ServiceNow tickets, and other channels by applying HR knowledge and research.

Provide Tier 1 support across core HR service areas, including benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, and accommodations.

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Identify key moments in the employee lifecycle and partner with leaders to deliver positive and memorable experiences.

Offer feedback and recommendations to improve HR services, programs, and procedures.

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and other reference materials to support HR operations.

Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation.

Support HR projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

1–3+ years of HR experience (HR Generalist experience in a service delivery or operations environment highly preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Must have UKG Pro WFM experience and knowledge.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening.

Highly organized, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Customer service mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Flexibility to adjust your work schedule based on business needs.

Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

SHRM-CP or PHR certification.

Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos, or Greenhouse.
