Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a hospice position requiring a minimum of two years of acute care experience and an active or applied-for WA RN license.

Responsibilities Work in a home health hospice setting

Day shift position with a 5x8 schedule, 7 : 00am–3 : 00pm

Assignment length is 13 weeks

Candidates may be asked to float to different units as needed

Provide end-of-life hospice care to patients in their homes

Return staff must have at least a one-year separation from the health system before returning as a traveler

Modules are not required for this assignment

Some holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs

All time off requests must be presented prior to signing the contract

Requirements Active RN license in Oregon or proof of application for WA RN license required

Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience required

Must have prior hospice experience if applying as a first-time traveler

Must be fully vaccinated, COVID booster not required

Two professional references from the last two years, including at least one supervisor reference, required

Candidates must not reside within 60 miles of the facility location

No more than one DUI on record will be accepted
