Today Astranis satellites provide dedicated, secure networks to highly-sophisticated customers across the globe—large enterprises, sovereign governments, and the US military. With five satellites on orbit and a backlog of commercial contracts, the company designs, builds, and operates its satellites from its Northern California headquarters.

Astranis is the preferred satellite communications partner for buyers with uptime, data security, network visibility, and customization requirements. The company has raised over $750 million and employs a team of 450 engineers and entrepreneurs.

Role

Content Creator

We are seeking a highly creative and ambitious Content Creator to grow Astranis\' brand through viral and engaging long-form YouTube content and short-form vertical videos. You will develop and execute original show concepts for YouTube and bespoke short-form-vertical-video that showcase Astranis\' mission, innovations, and company culture. Your goal is to inform and entertain, helping us reach new audiences and position Astranis as a leader in the deep tech space. As you grow, you\'ll help shape our content strategy and storytelling through short-form content.

Role responsibilities

• Develop and produce original show concepts for Astranis
• Create bespoke short-form videos showcasing Astranis\' HQ and mission
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines
• Analyze content performance and viewer engagement to inform future strategies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platforms
• Mentor other team members in short-form content creation best practices

Requirements

What we offer

All positions include a compensation package with equity and robust benefits. Base pay is part of Astranis\' total rewards and may include equity via incentive stock options, healthcare, disability and life insurance, flexible PTO, 401(k), and onsite meals. Salary ranges are informed by professional salary data; actual base salary offered depends on experience, credentials, educational attainment, skill level, and the role scope.

Salary range : $90,000 - $120,000 USD

U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee / Asylee Status Required
