Conduct condition assessments and inspections of electrical systems and equipment Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams Mentor EITs and delegate electrical tasks Performs other duties as assigned Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent time and budget management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency with REVIT; AutoCAD; ETAP or other power simulation software is preferred. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional electrical engineers license required, with the ability to be licensed in Alaska within 6 months of hire date. Ten or more years of related experience. Commercial experience in any of the following categories is desired : power, lighting, runway lighting, power generation, telecommunications, instrumentation and controls, SCADA, arctic engineering, hazardous locations, field inspections, and fee estimates. A candidate with other experience is encouraged to apply and will be considered. Experience with CSI specifications is desired, UFGS specifications is considered a plus. Physically able to travel and conduct field studies. Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
