We are looking for an accomplished Senior Accountant to join our team in Wendell, North Carolina. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise and a collaborative mindset to lead critical accounting activities and team supervision.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct and manage general ledger accounting processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Oversee day-to-day operations within accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchasing functions.
• Supervise and mentor a team member within the accounting department, fostering growth and efficiency.
• Lead month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Optimize inventory management procedures and support process improvements.
• Assist in the implementation and transition to the new accounting system.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure alignment and build trust across departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• Proven accounting experience in either public or private sectors; construction accounting experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of core accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Experience with inventory management and month-end close activities.
• Prior involvement in system implementation and upgrades is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
