Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Overview

Senior Geotechnical Engineer role at SLR Consulting in Cheshire, Connecticut. You will lead the geotechnical practice and contribute to projects across the geotechnical engineering spectrum, from feasibility through final design and construction-phase inspections.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients that result in sustained revenue growth
• Achieve business financial targets
• Manage overall project / program budgets and schedules, client satisfaction / expectations, and internal and contract requirements
• Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of project management and effective delegation and oversight of group or program tasks and goals
• Provide final senior review of technical or promotional communications prepared by staff and others
• Promote cross-selling of SLR technical services
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
• Manage junior staff
• Collaborate with project managers in the company's civil, structural, water resource, construction, and transportation engineering teams
