Local company seeking a servant minded engineer who is looking to grow- This us a Hybrid role in Dallas, TX-

What we are looking for :

We are looking for a technical individual who are motivated, self-starters, and always eager to help while providing excellent customer service to our users. You'll need to be a team player with great attention to detail and communication skills as we work together to solve daily challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Technical onboarding and ongoing support of users in multiple offices and countries
  • Hardware deployment, software installation and maintenance of user machines
  • Asset tracking and inventory management
  • Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Deploy and decommission user workstation VM's
  • Google Workspace end user support
  • Recommend new software and hardware solutions as needed
  • Help maintain vendor relationships for hardware and software acquisitions
  • Design and maintain Mobile Device Management policies and profiles for Apple and Android devices
  • Update and maintain computer management policies in Jamf / Ivanti / Workspace One
  • Work with key stakeholders and end users to identify and implement new processes and technologies
  • Educate team members and org users on new processes and technologies
  • Work with Audit and Compliance teams to review user access on a bi-weekly basis
  • Drive team initiatives / projects

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma
  • Up to 4 years of experience in end user IT
  • Good documentation and communication skills via Email, Jira, and Slack
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow direction
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs as necessary
  • Software Skills : Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack
  • Things that will help

  • Experience with Jira / Confluence
  • User level experience with Okta
  • Basic understanding of SaaS
  • Experience with Jamf, Workspace one, Ivanti Endpoint Manager or like technologies
  • Training or certifications : Microsoft operating systems, A+ certification, MacOS support training
  • Experience working on big projects and mentoring team members
