Located in Gulfport, MS

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our operations at our Gulfport, Mississippi location. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of our warehouse and distribution activities.

Pay $35,000 + based on experience + possible end of year bonus

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all warehouse operations and personnel, including Drivers, Helpers, Warehouse Laborers, and Forklift Operators.
Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and product organization.
Ensure routine maintenance of the warehouse, trucks, forklifts, and all other equipment.
Lead and conduct employee Safety Orientation programs.
Facilitate monthly Safety Meetings and enforce safety standards.
Respond to and manage on-site emergencies, including employee accidents or incidents, with proper reporting and follow-up.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Branch and the Safety Director.
Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing matters such as new hires, terminations, corrective actions, and other personnel changes within the warehouse team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of management experience, preferably in building supply distribution.

Working knowledge of forklift and truck mechanics; able to identify issues and communicate effectively with mechanics.

Proficient understanding of DOT regulations and Electronic Driving Logs (EDL).

Forklift certification is required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
