Description :

Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units.

An ASAP start is required.

The schedule will consist of 5 shifts one week and 4 shifts the second week of the pay period.

The position will require working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Floating to other units is required.

Candidates must have 2 years of experience in long-term care and a current BLS certification.

Preferred experience includes working in rehabilitation, IV administration, PICC line care, and wound care.

The staffing ratio is 1 : 20, with 1 RN per hall and 1 medication technician per hall.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) staffing is 1 : 8-10 on days and 1 : 20 on nights.

This position requires the ability to manage a variety of patient needs and perform multiple nursing tasks.

Daily patient care will involve comprehensive patient assessments and interventions.

Interdisciplinary support is available from various specialists, including physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy.

Candidates will be expected to comply with patient care protocols and safety standards.

The role involves maintaining accurate patient records and effectively communicating with the healthcare team.

All candidates must complete necessary compliance requirements within a specified timeframe.

This position demands strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
