An inclusive school environment seeks a Substitute Paraprofessional to assist teachers and students during daily or short-term absences of regular support staff. The role involves working with diverse learners to maintain instructional continuity and a structured classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Provide direct academic and behavioral support in general and special education classrooms

Reinforce instructional materials and assist with differentiated lessons

Supervise students during class and transition periods

Record observations and assist with student data collection if needed

Maintain consistency and uphold classroom expectations while the regular paraprofessional is absent

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework or experience preferred

Background in education, youth programs, or behavioral support helpful

Ability to step into varied roles and support multiple grade levels

Dependable, professional, and attentive to detail

Strong communication skills with students and staff
