Overview
CAES By Honeywell, in San Jose, CA is seeking an Assembler to work in the Module Assembly Area.
Responsibilities
- Novice in at least two of the following skills : wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach. Be able to handle devices and other small components using tweezers under a microscope.
- Work under the guidance of a cell lead or another higher level assembler, take ownership for quality and learn to make continual improvements.
- Participate in meetings, occasionally make suggestions and partner with the team to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Ability to work under a microscope 8 hours per day.
- Effectively communicate in English and read work instructions. Knowledge of MIL-STD criteria preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
0-1+ years hybrid or chip and wire assembly experienceAbility to use tweezers and other small hand-toolsBasic computer skills for documenting defects and time chargingThis position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)Preferred Requirements
At least 1 year hybrid or chip and wire assembly experienceCCA assembly or soldering experienceExperience using automated assembly equipmentDemonstrate the ability to interact effectively with team membersAttention to detail and ability to carefully follow written and verbal instructionsSalary and Benefits
Salary Range : $19.00 - $23.00 hourly (Level I). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
