EVS Shift Manager (Overnight)

Environmental Services Supervisor

Supervises the scheduling, training, and evaluation of all Environmental Services personnel.

Develop and maintain cleaning programs for designated groups to ensure a clean and attractive public environment.

Assists in establishing standards and procedures for ensuring a clean and attractive facility.

Recommends, documents, and issues disciplinary notifications to personnel.

Monitors and assists in proper timekeeping methods.

Requisitions supplies and equipment within established budgetary guidelines.

Participates in professional organizations that promote the development of the company.

Experienced with OSHA guidelines, including Right-To-Know Act, and Blood-Borne Pathogens.

Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.

Promotes outstanding customer relations.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Three (3) to Five (5) years experience in professional office management cleaning environment and / or cleaning of large public areas facilities.

Must be able to successfully complete and maintain the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery during employment.

Basic computer skills, and strong organizational and leadership abilities required.

Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.

Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.

Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and / or execute written, verbal, and / or demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.

Must be able to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
