Position Overview :
1.0 FTE - The Behavior Specialist supports students receiving general and special education who demonstrate a need for additional skill development in the area of behavior. The Behavior Specialist supports school teams to provide a comprehensive approach to behavior support that includes evaluation, data collection, interventions, and regular monitoring of progress.

Experience :
The candidate must be knowledgeable in the development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and be committed to continuous improvement and professional learning. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years in a special education role and experience designing and facilitating professional learning for colleagues.
