Job Title : Manual Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with a strong foundation in machining operations, particularly in manual mill and lathe work. This role requires an individual who is proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and has experience with hand and power tools, including grinders.

Responsibilities

• Review project assignments and instructions from the team leader.
• Examine drawings and machining requirements for each job.
• Develop an action plan based on task understanding.
• Set up and operate lathe machines, milling machines, saws, drill presses, and I.D. grinders.
• Monitor machines and make necessary adjustments to enhance performance.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and address any safety issues with equipment or processes.
• Participate in safety improvement programs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 / hr.
