About The Position
- Position Description
- St. Alexius Health Bismarck is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join its Level III NICU team. This role is primarily night shift coverage with responsibilities that include attending high-risk deliveries, performing advanced neonatal procedures, and managing both ground and air (fixed wing) transports .
- Schedule / Availability Requirements
- Shifts : 16-hour night shifts (3 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)
- Coverage : Primarily Friday–Monday
- Current Needs :
- Nov 7–10 (AM)
- Nov 14–17 (AM)
- Nov 27–Dec 1 (AM)
- Dec 5–8 (AM)
- Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide care for critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU
- Perform advanced procedures including :
- Intubation
- Central line placement
- Peripheral arterial line insertion
- Attend and manage high-risk deliveries
- Perform and oversee air (fixed wing) and ground transports
- Collaborate with the NICU medical team and support staff
- Document all care in EPIC EMR
