Commercial Staff Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Commercial Accounting Team.

Responsibilities include full charge accounting for several commercial properties. Day to day duties include, but are not limited to the following :

• Accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and various other reports as required by ownership / management.
• G / L account analysis and review.
• Annual budget preparation.
• Variance analysis.
• Coding invoices for accounts payable and review of the A / P input.
• Ensuring compliance with the management contracts.
• Maintain building and review & interpret lease files.
• Completion of CAM & RET Reconciliations (Only CM).
• Completion of YE Tax Workpapers.
• Assist with the acquisition and disposition of assets.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate with property management and company management.
• Special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager, Controller and / or CFO
