Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant responsible for managing and maintaining a variety of controlled documents and forms. This role involves data entry of test reports and quality documentation, maintaining product files, and tracking calibration reports for testing instruments.
Responsibilities
- Issue, distribute, and maintain controlled documents and forms.
- Enter data for test reports and all other quality, production, and test reports.
- Maintain product files and test reports.
- Track and maintain calibration reports and logs for testing instruments.
- Maintain trading sales purchase orders and test reports.
- Order supplies necessary for processing paperwork.
- Maintain documentation distribution lists and archived files.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, printers, and PCs.
- Track and maintain chemical analysis results.
- Observe and report any safety hazards within the department to the QA Manager.
- Maintain and order necessary departmental supplies.
- Receive and log Daily Concern Reports.
- Manage and maintain plant manuals.
- Review, scan, and manage all plant training records.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Proficiency in Excel.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.Work Environment
The position offers a flexible start time of 7 : 30, 8 : 00, or 8 : 30 AM, with an 8.5-hour workday, including a half-hour lunch break. The role is based in a cubicle within a lab located in a manufacturing plant. You will be part of a team of five people and will report to the QA supervisor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florham Park, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
