Overview
The Maintenance Manager – Maintenance Operations is responsible for planning and overseeing all repairs and upkeep of the Carhartt Distribution Center (RCV) and leadership and development of the on-site maintenance team.

Responsibilities
Coach, mentor and develop Maintenance supervisors and maintenance staff.Responsible for creating and managing an annual operating budget that promotes growth and profitability.Lead the site Maintenance function, providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled Technical service on all operational equipment including lift trucks, electrical, pneumatic, robotic and software.Drive Key Performance Indicators ensuring adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and best practices.Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs and procedures.Oversee maintenance personnel within the Distribution Center for all four shifts, including hiring, performance management, mentoring, coaching and training.Prioritize repair efforts to minimize impact on production when faced with multiple equipment issues.Implement and manage continuous improvement in training, work practices and processes; develop and share best practices across the company.Work with repair vendors / contractors to ensure prompt attention to physical building repairs and maintenance, including proper permitting and safety measures.Maintain buildings / facility to meet government, local and safety requirements, as well as company expectations.Actively participate in Safety Meetings for assigned facilities, including monthly audits of the physical building and safety.Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience requiredRequired Skills & Experience
5 years' management experience required5 years' experience in maintenance in a distribution or manufacturing facility requiredExperience managing large teams on multiple shifts preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredExperience with computer systems including email and Microsoft Office requiredExperience working with AutoCAD preferredAbility to handle multiple projects and programs concurrentlyPhysical Requirements And Working Conditions
