• 6 pm - 6 am per diem shifts no call or callbacks
• 0 - 11 admissions during night shift
• Team census 35 - 40 patients per 24-hour period
• Cross-coverage for all inpatient cases
• Optional procedures : intubation, central lines, ventilator management
• Bench strength position for future coverage needs
