About the Role

As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst at Workshop Digital, you'll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive smarter marketing decisions for our clients. You're a natural problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of analytics know-how, marketing insights, and client partnership.

In this role, you'll own the analytics strategy for key accounts, shape the direction of our growing Analytics Department, and collaborate across teams to elevate how we use data to drive results.

Responsibilities

Analytics Strategy & Execution

  • Build and optimize end-to-end analytics ecosystems across platforms like GA4, Adobe Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Audit, configure, and troubleshoot tracking implementations to ensure clean, reliable data.
  • Create powerful dashboards and visualizations that connect marketing performance to business outcomes.
  • Leverage APIs to consolidate and blend multiple data sources to tell a unified performance story.
  • Develop measurement frameworks tied directly to client goals and KPIs.
  • Use attribution modeling and cross-channel analysis to uncover what's really driving results.
  • Stay ahead of emerging analytics trends, tools, and best practices, and share that knowledge internally and with clients.

Client Partnership & Insights

  • Lead the analytics conversation in client meetings, bringing clarity, confidence, and storytelling to the data.
  • Proactively identify opportunities, risks, and growth insights that strengthen client strategies.
  • Build lasting client relationships through trust, transparency, and consistent results.
  • Collaborate with SEO and paid media teams to break down silos and deliver cohesive, insight-driven recommendations.
  • Translate complex analytics concepts into clear, actionable business insights for clients at every level.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with leadership to refine analytics processes and shape the future of Workshop Digital's analytics offering.
  • Coach and mentor teammates on analytics tools, data interpretation, and client communication.
  • Support cross-department projects that integrate data insights into broader marketing strategies.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency across analytics deliverables.
  • Business Development & Innovation

  • Support new business efforts by providing analytics expertise for proposals, audits, and client pitches.
  • Identify opportunities to expand analytics service offerings and client capabilities.
  • Develop case studies and thought leadership pieces that showcase Workshop Digital's analytics impact.
  • Learning & Thought Leadership

  • Contribute to analytics training initiatives and help upskill internal teams.
  • Stay current with industry shifts, new tools, and measurement techniques.
  • Share your expertise through internal presentations, team trainings, and blog contributions.
  • What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing analytics or data analysis.
  • Proven experience with :
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) configuration, event setup, and reporting

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) and pixel tracking
  • Data visualization tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, Excel / Sheets
  • Funnel.io and paid media integrations (Google Ads, Bing, Paid Social)
  • CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Call tracking with CallRail
  • Data manipulation or modeling using Python or R
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills that turn data into insight, and insight into action.
  • A strategic mindset and curiosity to explore how marketing and analytics work together to create business impact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, data-driven mindset.
  • A proactive approach to client service, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Expected base salary range is $85,000 - $95,000 annually , based on experience
