Are you committed to providing high-quality care to couples and families seeking solutions to their relationship issues? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a marriage and family therapist who can provide our patients with long-term strategies to improve their relationships. You'll provide patients with crisis intervention, diagnose psychological problems, identify problematic patterns that need to be modified, help strengthen their communication, and address dysfunctional behaviors. If you have 1-3 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and are currently licensed as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist), please apply now! $72,000 - $125,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Document patient records accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and licensing standards
- Engage in planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic treatment programs for each patient
- Test, interview, observe, and hold discussion sessions with individuals, significant others, and family members to conduct intake and needs assessments
- Provide mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children utilizing solution-focused therapy strategies for improving relationships
- Attend and participate in weekly scheduled Clinical Team meetings and collaborate with community agencies
- Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a variety of behavioral health concerns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Utilize evidence-based practices in clinical counseling and therapy techniques
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with special education needs
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to promote positive behavior change
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling
- Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric clients
Qualifications :
CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are requiredState license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or equivalentMust have 1-3 years of marriage and family therapy experience in a clinical settingExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsHigh school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; master's degree preferredMaster's degree in Marital and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related fieldState licensure or certification as a Clinical TherapistExperience working with couples and families is strongly preferredStrong understanding of family systems techniques and interventionsExperience with addictions and / or trauma-informed care is a plusAbout Company
