The Division of Nephrology at Banner University Medical Group is seeking an Adult Clinical Nephrologist for both inpatient and outpatient care, providing clinical services while also participating in research and teaching at the academic level. The Division of Nephrology at Banner University Medical Group is recruiting an Adult Clinical Nephrologist for both inpatient and outpatient care within the academic environment. The candidate selected will receive a Clinical Series or Clinical Scholar faculty appointment to the University of Arizona, at the level of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor based on experience and credentials.

Requirements include :

Board Eligible / Certified in Nephrology

Performs inpatient / outpatient clinical care, satellite clinical coverage, and outpatient dialysis rounding

Fellow and Resident supervision

Participate in clinical research, teaching, and publications

Work Schedule / Call :

7 am - 5 pm

36 Patient contact hours, 4 Admin time hours / per week

Inpatient Rounding : 10-25 patients / average 6-7 months / year

Outpatient Clinic : 8-12 patients / average 3-4 half day clinics / week

Current weekend on call for nephrology consultation service : 1 : 8 (shared equally)
