Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join the Engaging Networks team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that produces interesting, helpful, and SEO-researched content for our website. This role will oversee our content calendar, monthly newsletter, and social media channels.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement content strategies : Create a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on producing SEO-researched content to drive organic traffic.
- Manage content production : Oversee the entire content lifecycle from ideation to distribution, manage an editorial calendar, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Oversee monthly newsletter : Manage the creation and distribution of the monthly newsletter to engage the audience and drive key conversions.
- Manage social media channels : Develop and execute a social media strategy to expand our digital footprint, engage with the community, and establish thought leadership.
- Analyze content performance : Monitor key metrics, conduct audience research, and use insights to optimize future strategies.
- Collaborate with teams : Work with marketing, writers, and internal stakeholders to maintain a consistent brand voice and align content with business goals.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in Content Marketing, Content Strategy, or a similar editorial role, preferably in technology or nonprofit sectors.Proven success in developing and executing a content strategy that drives measurable results (e.g., organic traffic growth, lead generation).Advanced expertise in SEO / Content Optimization and proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).Strong analytical skills with experience using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible, HubSpot) to measure content performance and ROI.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with attention to detail and consistent brand voice.Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Webflow or WordPress, and experience overseeing a monthly email newsletter platform.Ability to manage an editorial calendar, prioritize multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Nice to have : experience writing in the nonprofit or social good space.Functional Responsibilities
Report to : Sr. Director of Marketing and collaborate with the growth team.Content creation and governance : Create content aligned with objectives, ensure consistency of brand voice across channels.Newsletter management : Oversee monthly newsletter production and distribution.Social media management : Plan and execute social strategies to grow engagement and thought leadership.Performance analysis : Track metrics and insights to optimize content strategy.Compensation and Benefits
Compensation for the role will be $85,000 USD annually and may be higher based on experience and proven abilities. There is also a bonus payable if the entire team meets the revenue target for the year.
