POSITION SUMMARY

Our rapidly expanding team is seeking a Patient Care Advocate with experience in the complex model of financial-based assistance. Advocates will handle the financial assistance process from submission to approval. Responsibilities will include thoroughly compiling information, responding to questions from subscribers regarding their high-cost medications and facilitating and guiding the subscriber through the various options available to them. Jobseekers should be excellent multitaskers who can work both independently and with a team to meet deadlines. Strong customer service skills and an eye for detail are also vital in this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Completing detailed documentation
  • Responding to questions from subscribers regarding their eligible medications
  • Facilitating fills through the appropriate program
  • Communicating with doctor’s offices, pharmacies on high level and time sensitive items
  • Ability to function as part of team but maintain workload independently

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • 2+ years PBM or similar industry experience highly preferred.
  • High school diploma required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Shared perspective on prioritizing the needs of patients.
  • Current or previous experience as a processor, case worker, advocate, customer service, and / or coordinator.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, must be organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to commute to our Dallas office location 5 days a week. This is NOT a remote opportunity.
