End Date : January 5, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Hours per Week : 36

Unit : Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg)

Patient Population : Adult and Geriatric

Patient Ratio : 6 : 1

Electronic Health Record : Medhost

Dress Code : Any color scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee

BLS certification (required prior to start)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience

Strong clinical and critical care thinking skills preferred

Ability to work weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Med / Surg unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using Medhost EHR

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Operate clinical equipment such as bladder scanners and glucometers

Care for patients with common medical-surgical diagnoses including pneumonia, CVA, chest pain, post-surgical recovery, electrolyte imbalances, and DVT

Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment and contribute to quality patient outcomes
