Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the uping school year, running from August 1 through May 26. The role is based in Cochran, GA, at a high school and involves managing a caseload of approximately 10 students. This is a contract position providing direct support through resource and co-teaching models.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction to high school students with diverse learning needs.
• Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and provide case management services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers in co-teaching environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence.

Qualifications and Experience :

Valid Special Education teaching certification.

Experience working with high school students with disabilities.

Ability to manage a caseload and provide case management effectively.

Strong collaboration skills for working alongside general education teachers.
