About the Role : The Flatwork / DryFold position at the Spartanburg Plant, 0032, is a critical role focused on the efficient processing and handling of flatwork textiles and dry fold operations. The primary objective is to ensure that all linens, garments, and related materials are folded, sorted, and prepared to meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail to maintain the integrity and presentation of the flatwork items while adhering to safety and operational protocols. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall productivity of the plant by working collaboratively with team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position plays a vital part in delivering high-quality finished products that meet the company's standards and customer expectations. Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Basic understanding of textile handling and folding processes. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards. Willingness to work flexible shifts as required by the plant schedule. Preferred Qualifications : Previous experience in a manufacturing or textile processing environment. Familiarity with industrial folding machinery and maintenance procedures. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic computer skills for tracking production data. Responsibilities : Operate flatwork folding machines and dry fold equipment to process linens and textiles efficiently. Inspect flatwork items for quality, ensuring they are free from defects and properly folded according to specifications. Sort and organize folded items for packaging and shipment, maintaining accurate counts and records. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any equipment malfunctions or hazards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and support continuous improvement efforts. Skills : The required skills for this role include operating specialized folding machinery and performing quality inspections, which are essential for maintaining product standards and operational efficiency. Attention to detail is critical in identifying defects and ensuring that all flatwork items meet customer specifications.
