About The Position

Catalytic Solutions has partnered with a  renowned Acute care facility in Del Rio , TX. We are seeking full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join the rehabilitation and acute care team.

Job Type :  Contract (Full-time)

Pay Rate : $2800 / Week

Job Summary :

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting. The SLP will collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and families to create and implement individualized treatment plans that support recovery and improve patient outcomes. Services may include acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, and dysphagia management.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs.

Provide dysphagia screenings, swallowing therapy, and modified barium swallow studies as appropriate.

Document patient progress, maintain accurate medical records, and prepare discharge recommendations.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team (nursing, rehab, physicians) to coordinate treatment goals.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, strategies, and progress.

Contribute to hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives related to communication and swallowing care.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (required).

Previous experience in a hospital, acute care, or rehabilitation setting strongly preferred.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical documentation skills.

Ability to adapt to a rural healthcare environment and work independently as well as part of a team.
