Overview : \n\nThe Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge. Working under general supervision, this role promotes professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.\n\nResponsibilities : \n\nReviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.\nAnalyzes patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans.\nPrepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.\nReconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.\nEvaluates patient response to interventions and identifies any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.\nCollaborates with interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications : \nEDUCATION : \n\nRequired : Associate's Degree in Nursing\nPreferred : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing\n\nEXPERIENCE : \n\nRequired : 1 year as a Registered Nurse\nPreferred : 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations\n\nLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRY / LISTING : \n\nRequired : \nRegistered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state\nBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
