Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Stone Cottage Care Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will assist in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide physical therapy care within the PTA scope of practice, adhering to established standards and protocols

Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating residents and developing individualized treatment plans

Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to promote mobility, strength, and overall function

Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to support rehabilitation goals

Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team

Qualifications :

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Iowa

Must be 18 years or older

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
