As a Laundry Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of clean and sanitary linens throughout the facility. From delivering fresh carts to removing soiled items, you will help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen carts to designated units and retrieve soiled linen carts.
• Sort, count, and document linen items for inventory and quality control.
• Assist with folding, organizing, and storing clean linens.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate with nursing and environmental services teams to meet linen needs.
• Operate weighing systems and assist with tracking unusable items.
• Maintain cleanliness of linen storage and transport areas.

You will work in an assisted living center alongside the internal maintenance team. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
