Position Title : Spa Attendant

Reports To : Salon and Spa Manager and Supervisor

Supervises : N / A

Summary of Position

The Spa Attendant is responsible for greeting guest and showing them around the facilities and responding to special requests and needs of guest. Keeping the Spa and Salon area clean.

• Reports all guest complaints and compliments to Supervisor or Manager.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion :
• Greeting and interacting with guests. Shows them around the facilities and responding to special requests and needs of guests.
• Keep the spa and salon area clean, basic maintenance and sanitation of equipment, massage tables and locker rooms, spa rooms. Assist with cleaning spa rooms and salon after client use. This is an ongoing part of the day since clients come and go regularly
• Restocking towels, robes, sandals and linens and refreshing the relaxation area, salon area.
• Multitasking skills and detail orientation is also important so that you keep accurate appointment records and coordinate check-ins.
• Monitoring security of the facility and making note of any maintenance issues. Checking all doors to ensure only registered guests or clients get in room doors is a basic security function
• Daily Spa and salon check for equipment and supplies to see that they are working properly. Any repair needs are noted and reported to the supervisor on hand.
• Spa attendants play a primary role in services and ensuring guest satisfaction.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.

The noise level in the work environment is loud. The team member will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment. The team member may be exposed to biohazardous fluids such as blood and other body fluids. The team member may be exposed to hostile environments with guest. May be subject to high stress environments.
