Job Summary And Qualifications The Angiography / IR RN provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing angiography and interventional radiology procedures. They assist with pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities : Pre-procedure care : Assess patient condition, review medical history, and obtain informed consent. Procedure assistance : Monitor patient vitals, administer sedation, and provide sterile field support. Post-procedure care : Monitor recovery, manage pain, and educate patients on discharge instructions. Collaboration : Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety. What qualifications you will need : Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing : Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Heath Care Provider is required. A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Heath Care Provider is required. Prior Critical Care experience is preferred.
