Corporate Attorney

Overview Senior Corporate and Securities Attorney position at Ascendion for a mid-sized, well-established firm in Midtown. The role is within the Corporate Practice Group and seeks a candidate with extensive corporate and securities experience. Responsibilities Wide-ranging experience in corporate and securities work. Substantial exposure to M&A transactions for both public and private companies, startups, public and private offerings, SEC, FINRA and NASDAQ filings, and the broad range of legal issues faced by middle market companies. Strong working knowledge of documentation used in public and private equity transactions and bank lending transactions. Extensive experience in relevant corporate and securities regulations. Some experience with bankruptcy matters and some tax experience, each a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary is between $160,000 – $300,000. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
