Overview

A global enterprise company is seeking an Engineering PM to work in a hybrid role in Everett, WA. This role supports the Environmental Control Systems organization in the commercial aerospace business unit. The candidate will be responsible for design development of an aerospace component for qualification that will be utilized by all models of commercial aircraft. The candidate should understand requirements rooted in electrical, mechanical, and / or structural engineering as they will work with many different team disciplines. The role involves hands-on engineering, with the majority of duties being hands-on. The individual will complement an existing Engineering PM who is working directly with stakeholders and managing a team of 6-8.

Responsibilities

  • Support design development of aerospace components for qualification used across all models of commercial aircraft.
  • Work cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering disciplines and other team members.
  • Participate in hands-on engineering tasks; the majority of duties are hands-on.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and support the Engineering PM who manages a team of 6-8 people.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering industry
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with qualifying aircraft components
  • Engineering degree
  • Experience with DO-160
