Customer Service Representative
The ideal candidate should be familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the customer service field. Main field of activity includes :
Coordinating all incoming calls to sell goods and services for the organization.
Providing customer service and support by specifying, coordinating, and informing customers of the current status of their orders, as well as by informing them of the distribution network for sales and repair efforts.
Receiving written or verbal customer purchase orders for material or merchandise from customers or salespeople. This work typically involves some combination of the following duties : quoting prices; determining availability of ordered items and suggesting substitutes when necessary; advising expected delivery date and method of delivery; recording order and customer information on order sheets; checking order sheets for accuracy and adequacy of information recorded; ascertaining credit rating of customer; furnishing customer with acknowledgment of receipt of order; following up to see that order is delivered by the specified dated or to let customer know of delay in delivery; maintaining order file; checking shipping invoice against original order.
May refer to catalogs and manuals to ensure that the proper item is supplied or to verify the price of the ordered item.
Providing customers with consultative advice using knowledge gained.
Providing verbal and written quotes for corrective and recommended parts to customers.
Processing orders, preparing correspondence, and fulfilling customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Fielding customer calls for system and warranty / repair needs.
Assigning, entering, and processing all sales orders for vacuum systems and spare parts orders.
Generating return authorizations for replacements on problem orders, to include warranty and repair, and for those items not received.
Maintaining liaison with other departments for order completion.
Arranging all transportation, providing tracking information and costs associated with freight.
Posting freight charges via invoicing at the end of the day for all shipped orders.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
