Senior Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about backend engineering and has leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead key components of Core Services, including People Recommendations Engines

Enhance application performance and reliability using databases like Postgres SQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive and user-focused solutions

Required Qualifications

A BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

6+ years of hands-on experience in modern software development environments

Expertise in system design and architecture, with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Node.js, Javascript, Golang, or Typescript)

Production experience with search applications such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch

Experience in building and scaling backend systems in fast-paced environments
