Job Responsibility : -

Sales Engineer – Residential Bidirectional EV Chargers

We're looking for a Sales Engineer with technical energy systems experience and a strong customer focus to support the sale and installation of residential bidirectional EV chargers.

This role will work cross-functionally with GM Energy project managers, product managers, support staff, customers and sales personnel to deliver a quality experience for our clients.

The sales engineer will work externally with suppliers, relevant project approvers, and installers to integrate hardware, software, and energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Support :

• Collaborate with sales teams to deliver technical expertise during customer consultations.
• Perform site assessments (virtual or on-site) to evaluate installation feasibility and identify requirements.

Technical Solution Design :

Utility & Energy Provider Collaboration :

Installer & Partner Enablement :

Minimum of 2 years of experience :

Customer Education & Support :

(V2G) capabilities.

Qualifications

Education :

technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

experience in EVSE, energy storage, or renewable energy preferred.

Bachelors – required

Minimum of 2 years of experience

Industry : If they can do solar and batteries (those two are minimum) if they come from residential (directly applicable) / commercial (transferrable) background that is preferred as these are more complex
