HOME HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE (RN) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION :

Location : Cordova TN 38016 | Shelby County, TN 100% On-site
Payrate : $53.93 / hr
Required Availability : Full-Time | MonFri 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM EST

On-Call : Required every 3 weeks (weekday, weekend, and holiday rotation).

HOME HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE (RN) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS :

The Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) role involves assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. Candidates should have prior home health experience and be comfortable supervising staff and managing patient care in both community and facility settings.

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

HOME HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE (RN) | RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing support for patients.

Work closely with healthcare providers to develop and evaluate health programs.

Coordinate communication among care disciplines to ensure safety and quality.

Oversee medication administration policies, including ordering, monitoring, and disposal.

Report condition changes to physicians and transcribe physician orders.

Complete required nursing documentation and maintain accurate health status notes.

Supervise licensed practical / vocational nurses.

Ensure patient appointments and follow-ups are scheduled and completed.

Provide new staff training and annual health / safety recertifications.

HOME HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE (RN) | REQUIREMENTS :

Education : High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).

Attendance : Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact licenses accepted).

Home health experience required.

BLS certification.

OASIS and HCHB experience preferred.

Wound care competency preferred (training offered if needed).

TB test (T-step).
